I initially made contact because of my connections to the Bullrun TV show and event/rally. I started by placing an email to the editor, and was responded to by Josh Robertson. The following is the exchange and escallation of the project.

Tim--
I'm running to a doctor's appointment, should be back in a couple of hours, but to your question: Any girl who takes it off will get at least the Playboy minimum rate of $500. It's the same price we'd give if one of the
girls were to do the "Employee of the Month" feature.
NOW, this could be made into something bigger -- one idea would be to have a sexy shot, not necessarily any nudity, in the magazine with some kind of words attached to it -- "5 road racing tips from the flag girls," something like that. We would come up with something. Then we'd put in a line that says "To see more of the flag girls -- much more -- go to playboy.com/flaggirls" or something like that, where they'd have a full online pictorial w/nudity. They'd get paid the $500 apiece for the magazine and some additional fee for the online component.
We can talk later today. I'm out...

I couldn't get Gary on the phone, he must have gone home. We'll have to pick it up tomorrow.

Sounds good. I am calling Ash tonight, Jen and I are partying in LA on Sunday, I'll email the others tonight.
I'll take the girls for two days, shoot a bunch, and get everything covered. Or uncovered as the case may be. You figure a one page bumper or may we get lucky? This way I can engineer a group shot if it is one page to tease for the web. Obviously more pages=better lol
We'll maybe lay down video if you think that will help as well for behind the scenes. Sort of "Jen says to make turns at speed do this" and add a clip. I know Mark (VP of programming @ PBTV) told me to always run some video when I do stuff for TV as a photographer.

The photo editor who will take it from here is Kevin Kuster. He’s been out with a broken foot, but should be in Monday, and should give you a call.

Ok cool. I have access to lots of the PB resources so I guess I'll take that up with him, but let's see where this takes us. I am sure even a pic and a blurb could be fine feeding to the site.

Hey great speaking with you today. Here is a breakdown of the Bullrun show.
Bullrun, based on the international automotive rally, features 12 teams of two drivers who use their own cars in a fast-paced rally that takes them across America in a competition for $200,000 prize money and the 2007 Bullrun Trophy.
Hosted by Bill Goldberg. Don't miss the Series Premiere Tuesday 3/13 at 10p followed by an immediate encore. Airs Tuesdays at 10p, re-airs Thursdays at 11p and Saturdays at 11a
http://www.spiketv.com/ Take a look at the videos of the flag girls on Spike's site, and for more of Jennifer, here I am teaching her to drive a Lamborghini http://youtube.com/watch?v=qUiTkpOwUUc
First off are Jennifer and Ash, they are both friends of mine and have been wanting me to hook them up for a while and shoot them. Jen can't do nudity, and Stirling said she'd work on getting in to my studio. Jen has appeared clothed as an extra on many of the Playboy TV shows. Madison Smith in casting has been trying to hook her for a while, same with the gang at Night Calls and Scott Cope for Sexy Girls Next Door.

In the middle here, exchanges were lost, but it was a scheduling conflict that ultimately killed a main feature.
